Today we’d like to introduce you to Giovanni Di Ronza.

Hi Giovanni, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always believed that great coffee is more than just a drink—it’s a moment, a memory, and a connection. My journey started in Italy, where coffee is a cherished ritual and hospitality runs deep in our culture. After years in corporate leadership and people development roles across Italy and North America, I felt a calling to return to my roots and create something personal, soulful, and experiential.

In 2023, I joined as Owner and General Manager of Latte Boston, a mobile Italian espresso and tea bar that brought premium coffee experiences directly to events — weddings, corporate functions, expos, and more. After great success in New England, I decided to expand to Florida and bring that same authentic Italian charm to the Orlando community. That’s how Latte Orlando was born.

We are specialize in creating elegant, memorable pop-up espresso bars, complete with professional baristas, curated Italian illy coffee, and premium tea from Dammann Frères. We’ve had the privilege of serving at large-scale expos at the Orange County Convention Center, luxury weddings, major corporate conferences across the state and pop-ups. We also offer recurring pop-up services for local businesses and offices, adding a touch of joy (and caffeine!) to their weekly routine.

What’s next? We’re excited to be opening our first Latte Orlando Café—a physical space that will become a point of connection for locals, travelers, and professionals alike. More than just a café, it will be a hub for Italian hospitality, culture, and community—a place where people can gather, recharge, and enjoy the very best of what we do.

As a proud member of NACE Orlando and the greater Florida events community, I’m honored to be building something that goes beyond coffee. Our mission is to serve joy—with every espresso, every smile, and every interaction—and I’m grateful to be part of this meaningful journey, one cup at a time.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Every challenge I’ve faced on this journey has become a catalyst for growth and opportunity. Launching Latte Orlando wasn’t just about expanding a business—it was about bringing a piece of Italian soul to the heart of Florida’s vibrant hospitality scene. Introducing our Italian espresso bar concept to a new market meant more than serving great coffee—it meant sharing a tradition, a ritual of warmth, elegance, and connection. Educating clients on this premium, immersive experience was both a challenge and a joy—and quickly revealed itself as a powerful opportunity.

When I transitioned from Latte Boston to Latte Orlando, I was starting from scratch: a new city, no local network, and no brand visibility. But one thing I brought with me was the unwavering passion to create something meaningful. I invested it into every conversation, every event, and every espresso served. Our first major breakthrough came when a California-based company entrusted us with a three-day conference in Orlando, serving over 600 guests. That single event became the spark—and we haven’t looked back since.

One of the greatest challenges has been scaling up without compromising the handcrafted quality and human touch that define Latte Orlando. As we began managing larger expos, multi-day activations, and high-traffic venues, building and training a team that could deliver not just coffee—but the full Latte experience—was essential. I’m incredibly proud of the culture we’ve created: one rooted in hospitality, precision, and pride in every detail.

Standing out in a saturated and fast-paced market hasn’t been easy—but by staying true to our identity, we’ve continued to grow organically. Today, we’re in conversations with national event planners, luxury hotels, and corporate campuses looking for curated coffee pop-ups.

The journey hasn’t been easy, but every challenge we’ve embraced has led to stronger relationships, greater recognition, and new partnerships that continue to shape our story with exciting opportunities. More to come!

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories is sitting at the kitchen table with my grandparents in southern Italy, watching them make espresso with the moka pot. The aroma would fill the room, and even though I was too young to drink it, they’d let me dip a biscotto into the foam while they shared stories and laughed. Those moments weren’t just about coffee—they were about warmth, connection, and belonging.

From a young age, I realized how powerful simple rituals can be in bringing people together. That understanding shaped both my passion for hospitality and my ability to naturally build networks and meaningful relationships—first in my neighborhood, then in school, sports and later across countries and industries. I’ve always been drawn to people, curious about their stories, and eager to connect dots between communities.

That early spark turned into an entrepreneurial mindset: I was never afraid to take risks, step into the unknown, or start from scratch in a new place. Whether it was launching a new project or turning an idea into reality, I found purpose in creating experiences that connected people—and joy in turning strangers into friends.
